CPR and AED Training (1 Day Courses)
Level 2 Award in CPR and AED : 1 Day Course
This comprehensive course covers the first priority in first aid (breathing) in more detail enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
This course is aimed at those who may have access to an AED in their workplace or individuals who wish to expand their knowledge and practice on basic life support.
Syllabus
A range of subjects are covered using the latest training equipment, subjects include:
- Responsibilities
- Action in an Emergency
- Primary Survey
- Secondary Assessment
- The Respiratory System
- Resuscitation
- Choking
- AED functions
- Defibrillation with an AED
- Paediatric defibrillation
- Safety measures
- Safe Airway Position
This course is available on request and can be run as a one day course or combined to an EFAW or FAW course with additional training hours.

Venue: This course is delivered in your own premises (we'll come to you), familiar surroundings are where you feel most comfortable and relaxed. We generally tend to run courses with a maximum group size of 6, meaning plenty of time to discuss topics and practice skills. Although we can accommodate up to 12 on these course we have found candidates excel in smaller group sizes.
Trainer: Our trainers have over 15 years real life experience of administering first aid under pressure within the leisure and outdoor industries providing a greater depth and understanding of what is needed in first aid training.
We really believe in teaching knowledge in such a way that you understand and feel confident to do something in an emergency situation.
